P.J. Lacette of Best Paw Forward, Inc. was one of the original faculty members for Karen Pryor Academy, the elite program for experienced dog trainers.
We were very fortunate to have attended some of Dr. Dunbar's first Florida programs more than 25
years ago. When he created the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, now the largest dog trainer organization in the world, our
founders became some of the earliest charter members. At the second annual APDT educational
conference, held in Chicago in 1995, we began clicker training after watching Pryor, Wilkes and Sue Sternberg demonstrate
this powerful, fun training too!
